Welcome, brothers.

My name is Carlos. I started writing this passing guide as a 16 year old in high school. A lot of what I initially wrote used dated slang, awkward phrasing, and just downright sounded like it was written by a pubescent teenager in the south. While I do roll my eyes at that obnoxious kid at times, he was very smart when it came to passing. He was so smart (and admittedly, very lucky at times), that he ended up remaining completely stealth all through high school in some no-name small town in Texas, even when being faced with kids who knew him pretransition. From his freshman year to his senior year, through changing rooms and near misses, he dressed right and played the game well enough to keep his peace.

It’s been years since then, and I’m still stealth to this day. Obviously, I am older and further along in my transition, but it still stands. I’m not saying all this to brag, I’m saying this because passing well and remaining stealth wasn’t a choice then, and it isn’t a choice now. It’s a play for survival. Coming from that crumby town and being who I was was terrifying. I knew what kids were like. If I wanted to survive it with my dignity intact, I had to be meticulous about everything. The same is true today, in 2025.

In this guide, I will help you pass. I will help you pass from the day you cut your hair, to the day you get your top surgery. And I will even help you out if you barely found out you’re trans, and are in the closet. You might not PASS, but you will not feel so miserable.

Now I’ll admit, I was fortunate enough to be blessed with a small chest. But anyways, while God said “thou shall have no tits,” He did not say I wouldn’t have hips like Shakira. I have hips and an ass. My body from right below my stomach all the way to my knees looks completely out of place, like someone committed some sort of sin and switched Barbie’s hips and Frankensteined them onto Ken. But this just means good news for you, cause these tips should work if you got those hips that don’t lie for shit.
